The International Hellenic University (IHU) Master’s programmes operate on a rolling admissions basis. This means candidates can apply for and be admitted to our programs throughout the year. However, we recommend submitting your application as early as possible to ensure a swift response and to secure a place availability. Please ensure your application form is fully completed as outlined below and submit all supporting documents to facilitate an informed decision.

Required Documents for Master’s Programme Application at IHU

To apply for a master’s programme at the International Hellenic University (IHU), you must provide the following documents:

1. Completed Application Form: Please ensure the application form includes a passport-size photograph in digital format and a personal statement of 500 words.

2. Academic Qualifications: All candidates should possess a degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university. To evidence this, please provide the following:
   • For Graduates of Greek Universities: Submit a clearly legible photocopy or scanned copy of your degree certificate and transcripts, detailing the courses studied and grades attained. According to Law 4250/14, certificates and documents from all Greek public entities submitted to other Greek public entities do not need to be originals or certified copies.
   • For Graduates of Non-Greek Institutions: Provide copies of your degree certificate and transcripts, detailing the courses studied and grades attained. Further validation will be required after your acceptance (refer to the “Enrollment” section).
3. Proof of English language proficiency: For graduates from non-English-speaking universities, a good score in one of the following English proficiency tests is required:
   • IELTS (academic 6.5 and above)
   • TOEFL (IBT, 95 and above)
   • TOEIC (745 and above)
   • Alternatively, a certificate of proficiency in English at C1 level recognized by the Greek State.
4. Curriculum Vitae: A copy of your CV detailing your academic and professional background.

Post-Acceptance Steps (Enrollment)

To confirm your place and enroll in the postgraduate program, the following must be provided:

1. A completed and validated registration form (refer to Verification of signature authenticity document).
2. Payment of the tuition fee deposit as specified in the letter of acceptance.
3. A validated copy of your Bachelor’s degree
   • For applicants with a Greek Universities graduates a clear photocopy of the original degree is required
   • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree from a non-Greek university should refer to the instructions for the authentication of foreign documents.

Please be advised that all three steps must be completed for your enrollment to be valid.

The validation of your degree and the registration procedure, which includes validation at a Greek Consulate or Embassy in your country, may require significant time, sometimes more than 3 months!
