Dimitris Kasseropoulos, MSc in Data Science graduate and Dr Paraskevas Koukaras, MSc in ICT Systems graduate and PhD in Interdisciplinary data science methods using machine learning for enhanced knowledge acquisition, members of the Data Mining and Analytics research group, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. C. Tjortjis, Dean of the School of Science and Technology, had their paper on “Exploiting textual information for fake news detection”, accepted by the prestigious International Journal of Neural Systems (Impact factor 6.325).

This is an important publication in the era of Fake news. Well done Dimitris and Paris.
