The Banking and Finance Students participated in the 2017 CFA Investment Research Challenge
Students of MSc Banking and Finance, Arvanitaki Despoina, Chatzilakos Ioannis, Gkantsidis Nikolaos and Khalayla Susan participated in this year’s CFA Investment Research Challenge. Students’ secured third place in the local finals where seven institutions participated.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis.
The postgraduate program, MSc in Banking and Finance, has joined the CFA University Recognition Programme. Following this recognition, the CFA Institute certifies that the IHU offers a graduate program which covers to a large extent the syllabus of the internationally renowned professional title awarded by the CFA. Therefore, Master’s students, besides gaining thorough academic training in the topics covered on the MSc in Banking and Finance, are also being prepared in the acquisition of a prestigious professional certification.
In this context MSc in Banking and Finance students have the opportunity to claim three partial scholarships for participation in the CFA exam each year.
