Vasiliki Mollaki, MSc, PhD

Education

Vasiliki Mollaki studied Genetics (BSc Genetics) at Cardiff University in Wales, UK. She received her postgraduate degree in Molecular and Genetic Medicine (MSc Molecular and Genetic Medicine) from Sheffield University, UK. She completed her doctorate in 2006 at Sheffield University, UK, in Genetics.

Scientific career

She was occupied as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Research of the Academy of Athens, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the National Centre of Scientific Research “Demokritos” in Athens. At the same time, starting from 2008 she lectures at the Department of Medical Laboratories, Technological Institute of Athens. Since 2011 she is a Scientific Associate at the Hellenic National Bioethics Committee. Since 2016 she is an Expert evaluator (ethical evaluation) for HORIZON 2020, in the European Union. She has published 2 monographs, 1 e-book, 10 articles in international scientific journals, 3 articles in national scientific journals and contributed chapters in 3 collective books.
