Dr Yifan Chen, CFA

Yifan Chen is an Associate Professor of Finance, Course Leader for MSc Finance & Management and MSc Investment & Financial Management Programmes, and Finance Professional Links Coordinator at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia.

Yifan Chen is a regular member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society United Kingdom. He is a full member (MCSI) of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and the CISI East Anglia Committee Member, United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom.

He holds a PhD in Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City, University of London, an MSc in Finance from Durham University, and a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Wuhan University.

Teaching Areas: Global Capital Markets, Risk & Crisis Management, Business Planning (EMBA & MBA); Investment Management, Quantitative Finance, Financial Risk Management (MSc); Business Finance, International Financial Services (BSc).

Research Interests: Asset Pricing, Corporate finance, FinTech and Green Finance.

Professional Experiences: Strategy, management & finance consulting for start-ups, companies, non-profit organisations and science parks.
