Θερμά συγχαρητήρια στα μέλη της ομάδας του Chickpeasy:

κ. Κωνσταντίνο Σχοινά (Τμήμα Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Τροφίμων, ΔΙ.ΠΑ.Ε.),
κ. Παναγιώτη  Γουγούλα (Τμήμα Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Τροφίμων, ΔΙ.ΠΑ.Ε.) και
κα Τριανταφυλλιά Μπίζα (Τομέας Επιστήμης και Τεχνολογίας Τροφίμων, Τμήμα Γεωπονίας, Α.Π.Θ.)

για την εξαιρετική τους διάκριση να λάβουν το 2ο βραβείο στον 14ο εθνικό διαγωνισμό Ecotrophelia 2024 με το προϊόν Chickpeasy (βάση για πίτσα με ρεβίθια, εμπλουτισμένη με πρωτεΐνες, πλούσια σε φυτικές ίνες, χωρίς γλουτένη).

Η επίβλεψη της ομάδας έγινε από την Καθηγήτρια του Τμήματος κα Μαρία Παπαγεωργίου σε συνεργασία με την Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια κα Αθηνά Λαζαρίδου από το Τμήμα Γεωπονίας του  Α.Π.Θ.

Congratulations to @Konstantinos Schoinas and @Panagiotis Gougoulas, IHU undergraduate students at the Department of Food Science and Technology and @Triantafyllia Biza, postgraduate student at AUTh – Food Science and Technology, for winning the 2nd prize at #Ecotrophelia Greece 2024, an innovative competition for sustainable food products hosted by #ΣΕΒΤ Σύνδεσμος Ελληνικών Βιομηχανιών Τροφίμων.

The winning product, called “Chickpeasy”, is an alternative pizza base, mainly made of chickpeas. It is a gluten-free product, enriched with proteins and fib ers. “Chickpeasy” is an ideal option for people with celiac disease, as well as suitable for athletes who want to add more protein in their diet.

The awardees were supervised by @Prof. Maria Papageorgiou (IHU – Food Science and Technology Dept.) and Assoc. Prof. Athina Lazaridou (AUTh – Food Science and Technology), and were supported by UNISMACK SA and Plastimak S.A. – Πλάστιμακ Α.Β.Ε.Ε.

Advancing in this competition is not only a proof of their hard work and dedication, but also to their ability to innovate and provide sustainable food solutions.
