The Internal Quality Assurance System implemented at the International University of Greece, under the responsibility of the Quality Assurance Unit (MO.DI.P) of I.H.U., covers the entire range of functions and activities of the institution.

Purpose of the Internal Quality Assurance System of the International University of Greece is the achievement of high quality in the operation of the institution and the continuous improvement of its educational and research work, as well as the effective work and performance of its services, in accordance with international practices, especially those of the European Higher Education Area, and the principles and guidelines of HAHE.

The Internal Quality Assurance System applies on the academic certification of the curricula of the institution, the accreditation of the Internal Quality Assurance System, as well as on the assurance of quality in the academic and administrative units. In particular, the quality assurance procedures concern the teaching, research and administrative work.

The Internal Quality Assurance System of the International Hellenic University includes all those processes and procedures required by the institution for the systematic implementation of quality assurance in order to improve all educational and research work carried out at the University, and in particular the accreditation procedures of its curricula as required by law.

The documentation of the Internal Quality Assurance System includes among others manuals that highlight its structure and organisation, such as the Quality Manual, which describes how basic requirements are met in terms of:

  • Quality policy and quality assurance objectives.
  • The necessary written procedures as well as the documents used for this purpose.
  • The necessary work instructions, documents such as legislation, as well as other information and data.
  • The organizational structure of MO.DI.P, with full reference to its responsibilities, required qualifications and objectives as defined by the Organization Chart of the institution.

The Internal Quality Assurance System of the institution was established by a decision published in the Government Gazette (Government Gazette 4451 / volume B ‘/ 03-12-2019).

The Quality Assurance Unit (MO.DI.P) is responsible for the administration and management of the Internal Quality Assurance System of the institution.
